Explosion Prepping for Playoffs and the IBL All-Star Game

Building on the great success of the 2008 Western Conference Playoffs and post-season All-Star Game, the Snohomish Co. Explosion are preparing for an even better show for 2009 when they will again play host to the IBL's 2009 Western Conference Playoff Tournament.

The Explosion are pleased to announce some major sponsorship deals for the season's final weekend extravaganza, including the Coca-Cola featured Sprite Slam Dunk Contest, just like the NBA's All-Star Weekend Slam Dunk Contest. They also have the 3-Point Shootout presented by Canyons Restaurant along with the North vs. South All-Star Game presented by Hometown Value Coupon Magazine. This game last year featured former NBA All-Star Shawn Kemp for the 2008 game, this year the skills competition will also be added with a sponsor yet to be named. According to Explosion management, there are several other deals in the works for the mid-summer event. Among those announcements still to come will be the identity of the several NBA players who will play in the All-Star spectacular along with the IBL 2009 All Stars.

Location: The event will be held at the Monroe Sports Arena, located at 17001 Tester Road, Monroe, WA 98272, and will be going on from July 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Tickets: Individual Games: Tickets for individual games are $20 for courtside, $15 for reserved seating, and $10 for general admission,

Tournament Pass: The best value is a weekend passes (for all three days) and can be purchased now online for $60 for courtside seats, $40 for reserved and $30 for general admission.
