Marysville WA, The fourth annual Tulalip Resort Casino I-5 Extravaganza 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament held on Aug. 11-12 was a great success and for the Men's top division (Gold) this year team "Walkers Coffee Company" won the championship 18-17 in overtime on a 2 point basket from sharp shooter Corby Schuh.

This year's team included three Explosion players and one local player Luke Ande from Everett Community College. Last years Explosion team went 16-4 in the regular season of the Internation Basketball League (IBL) at the Everett Events Center which included three out of the four members on the team. Darrell Walker (PG), Corby Schuh (SG), and AJ Stallworth (PF) helped "Walkers Coffee Company" go undefeated in the tournament this weekend.

The I-5 Extravaganza hosted by the Boys and Girls club is the largest 3on 3 event in Western Washington and the Explosion celebrated this event with once again having a booth promoting the team at the event. "We like being a part of basketball all the time during season and off season," Zack Mennie Director of Ticketing commented on Sunday before the Men's Championship Game. "An event like this gives a chance for our fans to see our players and play one on one with them in a different setting then our IBL games."

Point Guard Darrell Walker is the owner of local Espresso stands in the area and along with playing professional basketball, teaching in Marysville, and coaching at the local college, he still has time to play some pickup basketball in his spare time.
