Snohomish County Explosion News Release
MONROE, Wash. - June 6, 2008 - Justin James, Jamaal Miller and Donald Watts will were picked to compete in the 2008 IBL All-Star Game on June 12th at Genesis Center in Gary, Indiana. Unfortunately, they will not be able to attend this mid-season showcase as the Explosion will play a key pivotal game with playoff implications the following night.
"Due to league and team scheduling conflicts, these players will not be able to make the trip back to Indiana for the game," said Brad Sturlaugson, general manager of the Explosion. "However, we are honored that they were selected. Jamaal (Miller) has been one of our most consistent producers this year. Justin James has an all around game that fits in well with our team concept. Donald Watts is at his best during crunch time and is our leading scorer."
The Snohomish County Explosion will be hosting the 2008 IBL North/South All-Star Classic to be held on Sunday, June 29th at Monroe High School. This game will feature the best talent from all across the country, taking place directly before the Western Division Championship game.
