Explosion Partners with TCBA Fusion Basketball to help Cocoon House

Monroe, WA, February, 9, 2008: TCBA Fusion Basketball will be hosting a Free throw / lay-up a thon to benefit the Cocoon House in Snohomish County.

In an event sponsored by Whitfield's Insurance, the YMCA of Monroe, Ezzell's Chicken, and Explosion Basketball, members of the TCBA Fusion Girls Basketball team will shoot 2 hours of free throws and lay-ups. Prior to that, the girls will have collected pledges that will be calculated depending on the numbers of shots that they make during that time. All monies collected will be donated to the Cocoon House after the event.

Space, food, money, and time has been graciously provided by Whitfield's Insurance, the YMCA of Monroe, Ezzell's Chicken, and Explosion Basketball.

TCBA Fusion Basketball is an AAU affiliated basketball program serving Girls and Boy's in Snohomish County. In its third year, its goal is to: Help boys & girls navigate through life by developing game plans to strategically become team players of society. The current team consists of players from Lake Stevens, Stanwood, Snohomish, and Monroe.
