Snohomish County Explosion News Release
General Manager Brad Sturlaugson of the Everett Explosion announced before Thursday night's game with the Elgin Racers that he had reactivated 6'6" PF Brian Dennis from the inactive list. "Brian brings back much needed size and post presence to the team as we gear up for the playoffs", said Sturlaugson. The Explosion had recently added PF Matt Heuer, and PG Josh Reisman to the squad. The Explosion proceeded to go out and beat the Midwest Division leading Racers 122-114 to strengthen their hold on first place in the Western Division of the IBL.
The Explosion will be playing with out four key members tonight against the Eugene Chargers with Justin James, Donald Watts, Rashaad Powell, and newly injured player Donald Watts not suiting up. These four players normally account for over 68 points each game this season.
The Explosion got help with the Salem Stampede defeating Portland Friday night so the magic number of wins is now at two games for the Explosion to win the Western Division. Tonight's game is broadcast live on Northsound 1380 online at www.northsound1380.com.
