
Explosion Invites the Watts Foundation and Everett Chamber to Saturday's Game

MONROE, Wash. - May 27, 2008 - The Snohomish County Explosion will be hosting Watts Foundation Night and Everett Chamber Night this Saturday, May 31 when they play their first game of the season against the Las Vegas Stars at 7:15pm.
The Watts Foundation is a youth basketball organization coached by Explosion shooting guard Donald Watts and co-founded by legend Donald "Slick" Watts. The Foundation offers camps and clinics emphasizing the importance of ball handling, shooting, scoring and other fundamentals of the game.
"The Watts Foundation's goal is to create a culture that will reinforce all of the positive qualities of our community while distracting our children from the negative influences," said Slick Watts. "We strongly believe that the discipline and focus that is learned through participating in a team sport...will help our children overcome the obstacles they face."
All members of the Watts Foundation will receive tickets at a discounted price for Saturday night's game against the Las Vegas Stars.

Snohomish County Explosion Basketball is an international sports organization based in Monroe, Washington. As a member of the International Basketball League (IBL), the Snohomish County Explosion will be defending its 2007 West Division Championship Title against teams from across the Western United States, Canada and China.
