Snohomish County Explosion News Release
Monroe, WA - Snohomish County Explosion General Manager, Brad Sturlaugson, has announced a new dance team director for the upcoming 2008 season. Jennifer Sonneveldt, owner of Sky Valley Academy in Monroe, will take the reigns of the Explosion Dance Team.
Sonneveldt stated, "Welcome to the new season of Explosion Basketball. We are all excited for this new adventure and the new upcoming season. Explosion's Basketball will take on a new look for its dance team in the 2008 season. Are you ready to get funky, loud and, yes, a little crazy? We're bringing the BOOM to the dance team!"
"Our new director Jennifer Sonneveldt brings a twist to the all ready amazing dance team," added Sturlaugson. "She has 12 years of coaching experience and 15 years experience in competitive gymnastics, hip hop dance and competitive cheerleading. The new look and feel for the team is to bring dance, tumbling, stunting, and break dancing along with traditional dance to the floor. This will be a great addition to the Explosion Basketball Dance Team Program. Along with great basketball there will be great entertainment as well!"
Dance team tryouts will be held on October 27th. For more information,
