Explosion Basketball Honors Scouts And Armed Forces At This Saturday's Game

MONROE, Wash. - May 6, 2008 - The Snohomish County Explosion cordially invite all Scouts, Military Veterans and Active-Duty Military along with their families to enjoy a game of Explosion Basketball at half-price this Saturday, May 10, at the Monroe Sports Arena as the Explosion tip-off against the Shaanxi Kylins (China) at 7:15pm.

Military and Scout Night was established to honor those who are serving or have served our country and includes all Boy and Girl Scouts for their service in the community. The Scouts are also eligible for the half-price discount, good for up to five tickets purchased.

To receive your discounted tickets, visit the Explosion Main Office Mon.-Fri., 9am-5pm (333 W. Main St., Monroe WA), show your ID at the Monroe Sports Arena Box Office the day of the game or call 425.339.BALL (2255) to reserve your discounted tickets at will call.

Snohomish County Explosion Basketball is an international sports organization based in Monroe, Washington. As a member of the International Basketball League (IBL), the Snohomish County Explosion will be defending its 2007 West Division Championship Title against teams from across the Western United States, Canada and China. Explosion LLC was founded in 2006 by former Microsoft Manager and CEO of Courtyard Media Group Inc. Nathan Mumm.

The Explosion have a 7-6 record. This will be their first game against the Shaanxi Kylins (China). Seats are still available by calling 425-339-BALL (2255) or at the Monroe Sports Arena Box Office starting at 5:00pm PST.
