Explosion Adds Two More NCAA Players to 2009 Roster

Monroe, WA. - March 21, 2009 - The Explosion Basketball team adds even more NCAA talent for the upcoming 2009 season with now six announced NCAA division one roster players.

Devon Green (Boston College), 6-6 former Boston College Eagle swingman from Phoenix, Ariz., played in 13 games in 2003-04. He averaged 2.2 points and 0.7 rebounds per game. Boston College finished the 2003-04 season with a 24-10 mark, including a 10-6 record in BIG EAST action. BC earned its third NCAA Tournament bid that season. Green averaged 22.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game as a senior at Moon Valley High School, and was a two-time Nike All-American.

Cory Niles (South Alabama) 6-3 Guard/Forward from the Sun Belt Conference looks to bring a huge "above the rim" game to the Explosion as former 8 time slam dunk champion. Niles is a two time All-Canadian player and in 2004-2005 season lead the Country of Canada in scoring as a High School players with 38 points per game. In 2005-06 season NCAA South Alabama defeated Western Kentucky University in the Sun Belt Conference tournament championship game, earning them the first NCAA tournament bid since 1998.
