It ain't over until the big lady sings, or the Bandits win another NPF Regular Season Championship. This season has been a very successful, but it's not over yet. The Bandits have one more home series against the Tennessee Diamonds Thursday, August 19 through Sunday, August 22 and is packed with fun game promotions that we hope our fans will enjoy.
On Thursday, August 19 the Bandits are teaming up with the radio station 94.3 K~ LOVE for the 94.3 K ~ Love Family Faith Night. This will be a great opportunity for fans to come out with friends and family from their churches to experience a Bandits home game. Wear your K~LOVE gear to the park and 94.3 K~LOVE will reward you with Big Daddy Weave tickets!
We want to pack the park for the Friday, August 20 game! All outfield and first baseline tickets will be just $5. Prior to the game the Bandits will be hosting a free, one-hour basic softball skills clinic to the first 100 kids who arrive at the park. This is a great opportunity for our young fans to meet and interact with their favorite Bandits players while improving their basic softball skills. Tickets are selling fast, so be sure to get them while they last!
On Saturday, August 21, the Bandits will be playing a double header against the Diamonds at 2:00 pm and 7:05 pm. with a retirement ceremony prior to the 7:05 game. Jennie Finch has certainly impacted the game of softball in many ways, and will surely be missed by everyone involved with the Bandits. The first 300 fans to enter the gates will receive their own Jennie Finch poster, so be sure to get there early! Come on out and have your chance to say goodbye to a Bandits great.
The August 22 game will be our Fan Appreciation Night. We want to reward our fans for their support over the season. Every Bandits fan who comes to the game will be eligible for multiple raffle prizes including a team-autographed bat-bag, posters and other Bandits merchandise. Other fun promotions will be held throughout the game as well.
This final game is very close to selling out. Call in soon if you want the chance to see Jennie Finch and the rest of the Bandits in their last home game of the 2010 season. Once tickets sell out, fans will be put on a first come first serve waiting list for standing room.
If you can't get enough softball watching the Bandits, come catch one of the Bandits of Tomorrow games before the Bandits' games on August 20, 21 and 22.
The August 20 game will begin at 3:00 pm and is between the 10 and Under New Trier Trevians and Warren Wave Blue. Following this game is the free one-hour clinic, which will begin at 5:00 pm prior to the Bandits vs. Diamonds game at 7:05 pm. August 21 will have the Oriole Park Thunder and Norridge 11 and Under All-Stars competing against each other at 10:00 am. The final Bandits of Tomorrow game will be held on August 22 at 10:00 am between the 11 and Under Barrington Bandits and the 12 and Under Barrington Blackout.
Ever wonder if the Bandits are just as rough and tough off the field as on it? Come find out Wednesday, August 18 at the Best Buy at 1561 S. Randall Road in Algonquin. Fans will have the opportunity to meet and get autographs from their favorite Bandits players, as well as purchase great Best Buy products that have been seen at many of the Bandits home games. If you weren't lucky enough to win an ipod, Garmin GPS or Blu-ray DVD player at any of the Bandits' home games this season, Wednesday will be a great opportunity to check them out more.
It has been an exciting 2010 season for the Bandits. We hope to make the last home series just as fun and successful as the rest of the season has been.
Games will be held at 7:05 pm on August 19, 7:05 pm on August 20, a double header at 2:00 and 7:05 pm on August 21, with the final game of the series beginning at 2:05 pm on August 22. All games are held at Judson University in Elgin.

Bandits, Jackhammers square off at 610 PM
ELGIN -- Multiple start times have been reported and tossed around, but we're here to set the record straight.
Monday's Battle of the Sexes game featuring the Chicago Bandits versus the Joliet Jackhammers at Silver Cross Field in Joliet, Ill. will start at 6:10 p.m. Gates at Silver Cross Field will open at 5:00 p.m. The matchup will be the third installment of the Battle of the Sexes games, and tickets are going fast. The first installment brought together over 8,900 people to watch the game and the crowd at Silver Cross Field is expected and on pace to surpass that number.

Bandits fastpitch duel against Liberty set at Thillens
Come enjoy a night of Chicago Bandits softball in the city as the Bandits go mitt for mitt with the Lake County Liberty .
An 18 and under fastpitch travel team, the Liberty's opportunity to bash with the Bandits was postponed last time out due to rain. The newly rescheduled game will start at 7:05 on Tuesday, August 10 at Thillens Stadium, located at 6404 N. Kedzie Avenue.
As a classic looking softball field, complete with concessions, old-fashioned scoreboard and bleachers, Thillens will make an entertaining venue for the nights' fastpitch festivities.
For those who had tickets to the previously rained out match stubs from the July 6 game will gain free admission to the park. The cost for those looking to purchase new tickets they will cost $10 dollars for general seating and can be bought by either visiting chicagobandits.com or calling the Chicago Bandits' office at 1-877-7BANDIT.
