Everett Raptors News Release

Reggie Sullivan signed with the Everett Raptors less than a month ago and when he did, he and his agent, Jarrod Brown, asked Coach Ponder to make some phone calls and try to get Reggie some "looks" from the AFL, CFL or NFL. Coach Ponder, who believes in doing his best to get his players noticed and helping them find opportunities to "move up", did just that. There was some interest shown by several different teams but the one closest to Reggie's heart was the Carolina Panthers. He's played for them before and they were quick to re-sign the 6' 2" 216 lb. DB. They know what kind of player he is and they believe he's got what it takes to play in the NFL. "I really appreciate what Coach Ponder and the Everett Raptors Organization has done to help me get back into the NFL", said Sullivan. "Reggie and I both think Tom Dowling is a top notch owner and he's putting together a great football team with some quality coaching up there in Everett", said Jarrod Brown.
