
Esks Welcome Eisler Back to Coaching Staff

(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos have named Terry Eisler as the club's new Defensive and Special Teams assistant coach.
Eisler served as Edmonton's running backs coach from 2007 to 2009. A veteran of the Canadian university ranks, Eisler had stops at the University of Saskatchewan (1990) and the University of Alberta (1994 - 2006)
In announcing the move, Eskimo Head Coach Kavis Reed says, "Terry brings impressive technical know how and a deep understanding of our league. He's a good addition to the staff ".
Reed also announced that Marcello Simmons, hired by the Esks in January as defensive backs coach, will assume the post for special teams coordinator, replacing Rick Campbell who departed earlier this month.
