
Esks Extend Odell Willis

(Edmonton) - The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club announces the contract extension of international defensive end Odell Willis, who was set to become a free agent on February 10.
Last season, Willis racked up a career-high 32 defensive tackles, a team-leading 13 quarterback sacks, six pass knockdowns, five forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and two interceptions - including one returned 17 yards for a touchdown. He earned CFL Defensive Player of the Week honours in Week 4 and was named a West Division and CFL All-Star.
In six seasons, the six-foot-two, 255-pound Willis amassed 155 defensive tackles, 62 sacks, two interceptions and six fumble recoveries.
Willis originally signed with Edmonton as a free agent on Feb. 15, 2013.
