
Erie BayHawks Announce Coaching Staff Update

NEW ORLEANS -àThe Erie BayHawks announced today that Associate Head Coach Greivis Vásquez is taking an indefinite leave of absence from the coaching staff to address health issues related to an ankle injury.
"After taking some time to consider what is best for the team and my health, I have decided to step away from coaching to focus on rehabbing my ankle," said Vásquez.
Vásquez, a 28th overall selection by the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2010 NBA Draft, appeared in 401 career regular season games with Memphis, New Orleans, Sacramento, Toronto, Milwaukee and Brooklyn. The native of Caracas, Venezuela posted career averages of 9.0 points, 4.8 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 23.7 minutes per contest.
The Erie BayHawks, presented by LECOM, are the NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans.
