Eric Jackson Signed as Cornerback

LAKE CHARLES LA. - In what has become an "All in the Family" lineup for the Louisiana Swashbucklers, head coach Darnell Lee has signed Eric Jackson to the team. Jackson is the brother of Damien Huren, a veteran defensive back for the Bucs.

Jackson, a 5' 10" cornerback at 175 lbs., played college football for Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond. Fans of McNeese State football are familiar with Southeastern since the university is a member of the Southland Conference along with McNeese.

In his years at Southeastern Jackson has to his credit 41 tackles, three interceptions, and has run the 40-yard-dash in 4.37. Jackson's contributions to the defensive secondary will be considered valuable to the Bucs' pass defense in the upcoming season as a cornerback.
