
Energy Head Coach Jimmy Nielsen Comes to OKC and Is Bringing the MLS Cup with Him

Oklahoma City - OKC Energy FC today announced head coach Jimmy Nielsen and the MLS Cup will make a tour through the city beginning January 15.
Nielsen, named head coach of Energy FC in late December, was goaltender of the MLS Cup winning Sporting Kansas City squad just a few short weeks ago.
MLS Cup will make stops at several locations in the city, at partner locations and at locations available to the public beginning at Soccer City at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15. Other public locations to meet Jimmy and view MLS Cup are Sheraton Downtown Oklahoma City, Buy 4 Less at SW 29th and May, The 51st Street Speakeasy and a location determined by Energy FC fans via a social media contest. A complete schedule of public events are listed below:

Fans may vote for the final stop of the MLS Cup tour via the Energy's social media accounts on Facebook (/EnergyFC), Twitter (@EnergyFC) and Google+ (+EnergyFCOKC). The cup makes its visit to the winning location on Friday, January 17 from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Soccer fans also have the opportunity to place a deposit for ticket packages by calling the Energy FC office at 405-235-KICK (5425).
OKC Energy FC is operated by Prodigal LLC, a full service event management company. Prodigal operates the Oklahoma City Barons professional hockey team, co-promotes Professional Bull Riders (PBR) events in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, operates the Ram National Circuit Finals Rodeo (RNCFR), serves as the co-organizer for the March of Dimes Sports Headliner Banquet and produces the Bricktown 4th Fest.
