Albany, NY: The Albany Empire announced today that the team has signed Wide Receiver/Defensive Back, Demareo Marr and Linebacker/Fullback, Colby Campbell, for the 2023 National Arena League season. Marr played collegiately at the University of Mississippi and Campbell a rookie from Duke University. Marr most recently played in the Champions Indoor Football League with the Amarillo Venom as well as with the Quad City Steam Wheelers of the Indoor Football League. Campbell a rookie to the indoor game looks to take his versatility to the National Arena Leagues Ironman gameplay. Campbell played for four years at Presbyterian College from 2017-2021 in which he received All-America honors in the spring of 2021. In the summer of 2021, Campbell enrolled at Duke University where he appeared in 11 of 12 games in the fall of 2021.
