
Eighty invitees to attend Blizzard team tryouts

The second year Minnesota Blizzard will host their tryout camp for the 2004-05 campaign at the Runestone Community Center in Alexandria, Minnesota.
The camp will feature returning veterans from the 2003-04 inaugural Blizzard season and tendered, drafted and invited players from throughout the United States. In total, 80 amateur hockey players will hope to be chosen as one of the 2004-05 rostered Blizzard players.
The tryout process is made up of 4 individual team practices, each team with 20 players, and Friday and Saturday âround robin' games for all four teams.
Saturday evening, two teams of All-Stars -- players in total -- will be selected, with a final game slated for Sunday August 1st at 1 pm.
The public is invited to attend any of the round robin games. The All-Star Game will also be open to the public for nominal $1.00 charge.
The final 25-man roster will be selected from the players in this All-Star Game.
The Blizzard will once again skate in the Western Division of the NAHL, playing 26 home and 26 away games. .
