Edmonton Capitals Unveil Promotional Schedule

Edmonton, AB - Professional baseball is where fun promotions and in-game entertainment is taken to a whole new level. Edmonton Capitals fans are sure to 'Have A Ball' during the inaugural season with the promotional lineup set for this summer.
"We're extremely excited about all of the extras that will come with Edmonton Capitals baseball this season." said Capitals Director, Business Operations Jordi Weidman. "We're committed to providing Edmonton with the best bang for your entertainment dollar. With tickets starting at just $8 bucks, you can't go wrong. It's going to be a lot of fun down at the park this year."
All retail seats go on sale Friday May 1, 2009 and are available online at capsbaseball.ca, at all Ticketmaster locations or by calling (780) 414-GOAL. (4625).

The Caps schedule starts off with a bang and features some consistent theme nights throughout the season including:
Fireworks Fridays:
The most popular night of the year for pro baseball in Edmonton will run 5 times in 2009! A spectacular fireworks display will light up the sky in our beautiful river valley on the first Friday of every month as well as an early Canada Day celebration June 26th.
Saturday Night Movies:
A drive-in movie screen will be set up in centre field after every Saturday night game. Fans will be able to stay after the game and watch classic baseball movies all summer.
Signature Sundays:
Full-team autograph sessions after every Sunday game - bring the whole family.
$2 Tuesdays:
All kids combos at the concessions are just $2 every Tuesday night.
Wiener Wednesdays:
The new Capital Dogs are just $2 on all Wednesday games.
