Edmonton, AB - The Edmonton Capitals third annual Open House presented by 630 CHED, JOE FM, CISN Country and iNews 880 is set for Saturday May 7, 2011. The day will start with open tryouts presented by 630 CHED from 9 a.m. ¬" 2 p.m. Team management will give a serious look at hopefuls trying to make the cut and fulfill their dreams of playing professional baseball.
¬ÅYou never know who ¬â¢s going to turn up in an open audition format like this. ¬Â stated Capitals Director, Baseball Operations Gord Gerlach. ¬ÅWe ¬â¢ll get young talent from all over the map and you just never know. We found our starting shortstop (Aaron Hornastaj) the first time we did this back in 2009. There are a lot of great players in this region and we look forward to seeing what they ¬â¢ve got. ¬Â
The open tryout is free and interested players can pre-register by visiting capsbaseball.ca.
