St. John's, NL - The St. John's Edge announced today, the signing of Maurice Jones to a one-year NBL Canada contract.
Jones, 5'7" 155lbs, was acquired by the St. John's Edge on Monday in a trade with the Windsor Express.
During the 2017-18 season, in 43 games, he averaged 17.6 points, 5.86 assists, while playing 38.3 minutes. He shot .441 (269-for-610) from the field, .338 (80-for-237) from three-point range and .869 (139-for-160) at the free throw line.
Jones was the 2016-17 NBL Canada Rookie of the Year with the Windsor Express.
