Edge Re-Sign Goodman, Add Former ACC Pass Rusher

Bloomington, IL - The team announced today the re-signing of linebacker Ken Goodman and the addition of rookie defensive lineman/linebacker Brandon Pittman.
Ken Goodman (215, 6'2 - Graceland) will be returning for his second season with the Edge. In three appearances for the Edge last season, Goodman recorded 14 stops and one pass breakup. Prior to joining the Edge, Goodman played collegiately at Graceland University in Lamoni, IA.
Brandon Pittman (200, 6'3 - NC State) is joining the Edge as a rookie. The Raleigh native played FBS football at North Carolina State University. As an outside linebacker for the Wolfpack, Pittman appeared in 42 games through his four years of collegiately eligibility, recording a total of 139 tackles and seven sacks. With the Edge, Pittman will line up at both linebacker and defensive end.
"Ken and Brandon are both great additions to our defensive unit," Edge head coach Ameer Ismail reflected. "Goodman came in towards the end of last season and played some good ball and we're looking for really big things out of Pittman over the course of his rookie season."
