. John's, NL - The . John's Edge announced today that the team has had to place Carl English on the Injured Reserve with a Grade 2 Quad Tear.
English suffered the injury in Game 3 of the Finals on Monday night at Mile One Centre. After doctor's evaluation and MRI confirmation, it was determined that it was a tear of the quad with recovery time for the injury listed at 4-6 weeks.
