Bloomington, IL. - The Bloomington Edge is pleased to share details about the upcoming Youth Football Camps taking place this month . These non-contact skills camps are free to participate in, and are for boys and girls ages 7-13.
The Youth Football Summer Training Camp presented by Bandanas Restaurant is a three day event starting on Thursday July 19th and running to Saturday July 21st. Start time is 10am each day and the sessions will last approximately 1 hour. On Thursday and Friday the camp will take place at the White Oak Park football field in Bloomington. The last day of the camp (Saturday July 21st) will take place inside Grossinger Motors Arena on the red turf field. Athletes are not required to attend all three days. Participants in the camp will receive a complimentary child admission ticket to the Edge's home game that night plus a free sandwich from Bandanas on Thursday. The second youth football camp the Bloomington Edge will be hosting this summer is in conjunction with the Town of Normal Parks and Recreation Department and will be taking place on July 28th from 10am to 11am at the Rosa Parks Commons in Normal, Illinois. Edge players and coaches will be on hand to teach basic football skills to boys and girls interested in having fun and getting exercise. All participants will receive a complimentary ticket to the Bloomington Edge home game that evening (kick off at 7pm).
