St. John's Edge News Release
St. John's, NL - The St. John's Edge announced today that the team has activated Carl English from the Injured Reserve, effective immediately.
English sustained a tear of the UCL in his thumb on February 7th versus the Island Storm. Following the game, English returned to St. John's where he underwent surgery to repair the ligament damage.
Over the past few weeks, Carl English has been training and rehabbing the injury to get himself ready to return to the lineup. Following the last few days of practice and training sessions, Carl felt that he was ready to return and will be making that return to the lineup on Saturday April 20th at 7 PM when the Edge take on the KW Titans in Game 1 of their Division Finals match-up.
