Edge Acquire Rights to Maurice Jones

St. John's, NL - The St. John's Edge of the National Basketball League of Canada has acquired the protected rights to Maurice Jones from the Windsor Express for the protected rights to Grandy Glaze.

Maurice Jones, a native of Saginaw, Michigan has spent the last two seasons with the Windsor Express of the NBL Canada. During the 2017-18 season, in 43 games, he averaged 17.6 points, 5.86 assists, while playing 38.3 minutes. He shot .441 (269-for-610) from the field, .338 (80-for-237) from three-point range and .869 (139-for-160) at the free throw line.

Jones was the 2016-17 NBL Canada Rookie of the Year with the Windsor Express.
