Eddie Gill Returns to the 14ers

DENVER - December 8, 2008 - The Colorado 14ers announced today that point guard Eddie Gill has been added to the roster. Gill returns for a second season in Broomfield after being the #1 overall draft pick, a 1st Team All NBA D-League Performer, an NBA D-League All-Star, and receiving two GATORADE Call-Ups to the NBA during the 2007-2008 season.
Gill is a Colorado native who played at Overland High School in Aurora. In addition to receiving call-ups to the New Jersey Nets and Seattle SuperSonics last season, he also played for four other NBA teams from 2000-2006. He fills the roster spot created when the 14ers released guard Eric Osmundson last week, and is expected to be in uniform when the 14ers visit Rio Grande Valley Tuesday night.
