ECHL Announces 2018 Preseason Schedule

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Tuesday its Preseason schedule of 24 games beginning Sept. 30 and continuing through Oct. 7.

The Premier 'AA' Hockey League will open its 31st season with six games on Friday, Oct. 12. Opening weekend continues with 12 games on Saturday, Oct. 13 and three games on Sunday, Oct. 14.

The third-longest tenured professional hockey league behind only the National Hockey League and the American Hockey League, the ECHL averaged 4,424 fans per game in 2017-18, the 14th consecutive season and the 26th time in the last 28 years that the ECHL has averaged over 4,000 fans.
