Eastlink TV to Televise Opening 4 Games of Storm-Rainmen Series

(Charlottetown, PE) Fans of the NBL Canada who subscribe to Eastlink TV will be able to watch the first four games of the Atlantic Division Finals between the Island STORM and the Halifax Rainmen.

The best of seven series opens up this Thursday evening at 7 o'clock at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax with game two set for Friday night at 7. Games three and four in the series will be played at Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown, Sunday March 22nd with a 2 pm start and Tuesday March 24th with a 7 pm start.

Games one, three, and four of this series will televised live while the game two on Friday in Halifax will be tape delayed and aired at 9:30pm following the Major Junior Hockey game between Saint John and Charlottetown.

This is the third consecutive year the Island STORM have made it to the Atlantic Division Finals. The STORM are coming off a thrilling first round series win over the Saint John Mill Rats which saw the Island team get a buzzer beating, game winning basket from Mike Williams in the fifth and deciding game to win the series.

The Halifax Rainmen took care of their first round best of five series over the Moncton Miracles in four games.

The STORM and Halifax split their eight regular season games this season and the Atlantic Division Final is anticipated to be an exciting and tough series. The winner of this series will take on the winner of the Central Division playoff for the NBL Canada Title.
