Brooklyn Aces (22-2-2) @ Danbury Mad Hatters (12-10-1): 7:30pm
Location: Danbury Arena, Danbury, CT
* The tenth game of the season series. Brooklyn has won seven of the first nine meetings.
* Last game: Saturday (1/17): Brooklyn defeated Danbury 8-5. Eric Frank, Ian McLoughlin, and Josh Coyle each scored twice for the Aces. Erik Kent scored twice for Danbury.
* On Friday night: Danbury defeated Hudson Valley 6-1 while Brooklyn defeated Jersey 4-2.
Erik Kent had a hat trick for Danbury and Brian Hannafin added two goals for the 'Hatters.
* In Brooklyn's victory over Jersey, the Aces CJ Tozzo scored a hat trick and added an assist for a four point night. Goaltender Miroslav Recicar stopped 29 of 31 shots on goal in the victory.
* Brooklyn & Danbury play the second part of the home & home series on Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm at Aviator Sports & Recreation in Brooklyn.
Jersey Rockhoppers (13-11-1) @ Hudson Valley Bears (2-21-1): 7:30pm
Location: Mid-Hudson Civic Center, Poughkeepsie, NY
* Also the tenth meeting of the year. Jersey has won eight of the first nine games.
* Last game: Saturday (1/17): the Rockhoppers defeated the Bears 8-5. Anthony Becker & Kyle Bozoian each scored twice for Jersey while Brent Reitter tallied twice for the Bears.
* Friday night: Hudson Valley lost 6-1 at Danbury while Jersey lost 4-2 in Brooklyn. Pete Alden scored Hudson Valley's only goal. Jersey's goals on Friday came from Rich Jondo & Anthony Becker.
* Goaltender Len DiCostanzo was returned to Hudson Valley by Bridgeport of the AHL on Friday. DiCostanzo was in goal on Friday night for the Bears; facing 52 shots.
* After Saturday's game, both teams are off until next Thursday (1/29) when Jersey travels to Danbury and Hudson Valley is in Brooklyn.
