East Kentucky Energy News Release

Pikeville, KY. "By day he's just your ordinary PE teacher, but by night, he's a machine on the basketball court," wrote Randy White, Sports Editor of the Appalachian News Express. "Neil Rasnake signed on with the East Kentucky Energy on Wednesday. The signing marks the fifth player that the Energy have signed so far. Rasnake joins J.R. VanHoose, Daniel Price (ABA All-Star and owner of the Mississippi Blues), Jarell Jones and Sandrell Span on the Energy's player roster."

"He's going to bring a lot of hustle and he's a flat-out knock down shooter from the perimeter," added Energy co-founder Tom Hamilton. "Players love to have him on the floor because he's a very smart basketball player. He can hanlde the break, run the floor, finish at the rim and make some great passes. He's going to be a lot of fun to watch and he's going to be another piece of the puzzle which makes the Energy a success in the community, and we believe, a contender in the ABA."
