San Jose Earthquakes News Release

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes look to improve to 3-1 at home this season, and win their third straight home match when they take on the New York Red Bulls after knocking off Colorado 1-0 last week. The game kicks off at 7 p.m. PT at Buck Shaw Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. The game will air live on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, on the radio on 1220 KDOW (English) and 1370 KZSF (Spanish).

The Quakes and Red Bulls split their season series last year, with each team winning at home. San Jose fell 4-1 on May 8 last year in East Rutherford, NJ and won 1-0 in front of the home crowd in October at Buck Shaw. Danville native Chris Wondolowski scored for the third straight game last Saturday and looks to become only the fourth player in club history to score in four straight. Forward Ryan Johnson scored in both matches in 2009, and looks to extend his goal-scoring streak against New York.
