Published on November 27, 2019 under Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) News Release
Boucherville, QC - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League announced today that Cape Breton Eagles forward, Shaun Miller, has been suspended for four (4) games for slashing.
The rationale
On the sequence, in a race for the puck, the Eagles player (#19 - Shaun Miller) came second for possession of the puck and without explanation, hit his opponent (#67 - Christophe Farmer) with his stick. A simply unacceptable gesture that could have caused a severe injury.
As a result, the QMJHL's Department of Player Safety imposed a 4-game suspension to Shaun Miller from the Cape Breton Eagles.
