
Eagles McNabb Hypes MLL Championship

The Philadelphia Eagles' Donovan McNabb celebrates arrival of Major League Lacrosse Championships when he receives a Baltimore Bayhawks jersey from MLL owner Jake Steinfeld and league superstar Gary Gait. Both McNabb and Gait are alumns of Syracuse University.
The MLL Championships will take place at Villanova Stadium on Friday, August 22 at 5 and 8 p.m. (semi-finals) with the Championship game on Sunday, August 24 at 4 p.m. Gait's Bayhawks will face the New Jersey Pride in the first semi-final game on Friday with the Boston Cannons and the Long Island Lizards facing off at 4 p.m. Winners of both games will advance to Sunday's Championship.
Gait, a two-time NCAA Midfielder of the Year and NCAA Player of the Year and three-time NCAA Champion at Syracuse University, finished his collegiate career in 1990. McNabb, one of the most decorated athletes in Syracuse history, was a four-year starter at quarterback and a key reserve on the school's nationally ranked basketball team. He graduated from Syracuse in 1998.
Tickets for the MLL semi-final day on August 22 are $18 for adults and $15 for kids and include admittance to two semi-final games and tickets for the championship game on August 24 are $22 for adults and $20 for kids. Tickets can be purchased by called (215) 389-WINGS (9464) or at Ticketmaster.
