Charlotte Eagles News Release
The Charlotte Eagles are back at home after a 2 game road trip over the 4th of July weekend. After gaining 3 points against Wilmington, the Eagles were not able to repeat against Richmond. With competition in the division so tight, every game is vital to the Eagles post season aspirations.
The Eagles look forward to returing home on Saturday, July 11th to play before a home crowd at Charlotte Christian school. The match is part of a doubleheader. The Lady Eagles play against Cary at 5:30 PM EST and the Eagles kick-off against Western Mass at 8 PM EST.
At 4-5-3, Western Mass is following closely behind the Eagles with a 4-5-4 record. Yet in their last meeting on June 13th, Western Mass proved better by 2 goals, and with both teams fighting for playoff births, this matchup is shaping up to be a great game.
The Eagles are proud to have Soccer Shots, a national organization which aims to teach children 3 - 5 years old the basics of soccer and team sports, host a free clinic for children 3-5 on location at 6:30 PM. Parents, you won't want to miss this opportunity.
Individual game tickets can be purchased online at www.charlotteeagles.com, at the gate, or by contacting the Eagles Ticket Department at ticketsales@CharlotteEagles.com or (704) 841-8644 (ext. 20).
Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for youth at the gate ($8 for adults and $5 for youth if purchased at www.charlotteeagles.com by midnight the day before the game).
