Eagles Host Pittsburgh Saturday Night; Celebrate 20 Seasons

The Charlotte Eagles and the Pittsburgh Riverhounds meet for the first time this season on Saturday, July 14 at Charlotte Christian Stadium at 8:00 PM.
The Charlotte Eagles have found their rhythm, winning four consecutive USL PRO league games. Going into the weekend they find themselves in sixth place in the USL PRO standings.
Coach Steffens is optimistic stating, "The playoffs are still a ways off, but we found our form at the right time in the season, and will continue to work hard to reserve our spot in the post season"
The Riverhounds will face Richmond on Friday, July 13 before coming to Charlotte. The club is coming off two tough loses against Dayton and Harrisburg. Currently they sit ninth in the standings with a record of 2-8-6.
The Eagles will host their last doubleheader of the season with the Lady Eagles kicking off at 5:30 PM against the Atlanta Silverbacks. The winner advances to the USL W-League playoffs, the loser goes home.
