Eagles Host Open Cup Game

The Charlotte Eagles have started the 2008 campaign with great success and in turn have qualified for the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. The Eagles will host the Clearwater Galactics on June 10th at Restart Field in the first round of the tournament. The Galactics are a member of the USASA amature league who have also started out with a successful season thus far. Charlotte has seen success in the Open Cup before. In 2005 Charlotte played an incredible game against Chivas USA of the MLS after winning in the first two rounds. The Eagles are off to a great start and looking to continue their success into the Open Cup.
