Eagles Head to Wild West

The Soo Eagles will make their longest road trip of the season this weekend, as they travel to Wentachee to take on the Wild on Friday and Saturday night at 7:05 (PST).

The Eagles currently sit in fourth place in the North Division (20-19-7) with 47 points. Wenatchee is in fifth place in the Midwest Division (22-19-6) with 50 points.

The Eagles are led in scoring by Mike Sabatini, who has 14 goals and 16 assists this season. Sandis Zolmanis has 7 goals and 14 assists, while Ryan Urso is (4-15- 19) and Brad Pung is (5-14- 19).

The Wild are led in scoring by Troy Loggins, who has 20 goals and 24 assists this season. Parker Tuomie has 16 goals and 19 assists, while Matthew Nuttle is (3-20- 23).

Soo Eagles goaltender Nathan Klebe is 6-2-0-0 on the campaign, with a goals against average of 2.58 and a save percentage of .925. Paige Skoog is 4-7-0-1 with a GAA of 2.72 and a SV% of .919.

Chase Perry is 10-9-0-4 in net for Wenatchee, with a goals against average of 2.33 and a save percentage of .909. Austin Priebe is 1-0-1-0 with a GAA of 9.93 and a SV% of .810.

These teams have met twice this season, with the Eagles collecting a pair of victories at Pullar Stadium on Oct 18-19, 2013.
