Dynamite Add Depth and Versatility with Duarte, Main and Molet
October 31, 2008 - Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL)
Denver Dynamite News Release
The Denver Dynamite proudly announced the signings of John Molet, Danny Main and Mikey Duarte to fill the gaps in the forward, mid and defensive lines of the squad. Now having added both depth and versatility with their three latest signings, the Denver Dynamite Professional Arena Soccer team is set to take off to Canada and face Calgary in a two-game series this weekend. Per club policy, terms of the deal will not be disclosed.
John Molet grew up in Northglenn, CO, where he played at Northglenn High School. Following which, Molet then attended Fort Lewis College, Northern Arizona University, and Seattle Pacific University. He then began following his dream of playing professional soccer when he joined the Colorado Comets of the USISL (United States Interregional Soccer League) before being drafted by the Eastern Indoor Soccer League (EISL). Now the former MVP of the defunct EISL's Pensacola Flyers, Molet will be counted on to add depth and stability to the midfield.
A graduate of Utah State University, goalkeeper Danny Main brings his professional experience from the World Indoor Soccer League (WISL)'s Utah Freezz to the Dynamite backline and will be counted on as a leader on the defense. Main spent time on the Utah Blitzz in the United Soccer Leagues' Premier Development League (PDL) in 2000. Another Colorado native, Danny is the current head coach of his former high school in Highlands Ranch as well as the staff goalkeeper coach for the Real Colorado Soccer Club.
Sacramento, CA native Mikey Duarte, the current reigning MVP of the Sacramento Scorpions of the Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL-Premier) will leave Cali to join the Dynamite family. Prior to a move to indoor soccer, Duarte played with Club Mexico from '92-06 in the Central California Soccer League (CCSL) Premier Division. Mikey may be designated as a forward, but is able to play any position on the field as a true "utility player." This versatility, coupled with his strength on offense, makes him a great asset.
