
Dutch Lions Host the Riverhounds

DAYTON, OH, June 30 2014 . - The Dayton Dutch Lions (4-10-2) will host the Pittsburgh Riverhounds (1-9-5) tomorrow in another crucial game. This will be the second encounter between both teams in 3 days after the Dutch Lions got the win (1-0) in Pittsburg last Saturday. Kick-off is set for 7.00pm on Tuesday the 1st of June.
After a single goal by Eli Garner and a strong team performance the Lions got the 3 points last Saturday and climbed in to the 11th place in the standings, just 4 points away from a playoff position
This is what Head Coach Sid van Druenen said about the upcoming game: "We all know how important this game is for us, a win is all the team is thinking off. We also know, after playing Pittsburg last Saturday, that they have some very dangerous players and we will have to be on our best defensively once again to get the win on Tuesday."
A player to watch on the Pittsburg Riverhounds side is Collins John, the striker from Holland has 4 goals and 1 assist in 5 games so far this season. John has two appearances for the Dutch national team and played for teams as FC Twente, Fulham and the Chicago Fire.
