Amarillo, TX 6/26/09 - As a way to keep their fans informed for the remainder of this season as well as during the off-season, the Amarillo Dusters have are now active on Twitter and Facebook.
"The goal is to keep every fan informed," remarked Dusters General Manager Joe Morgado. "Fans will have access to exclusive team updates such as pictures, transactions, and more."
Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co-workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing? Fans are able to receive these updates online at twitter.com as well as on their mobile phone. Type âamarillodusters' in the search box and select the âfollow' button to begin receiving Twitter updates. If you would like to receive the updates on your mobile phone, you must select this option separately.
You may also find the Dusters on Facebook by typing âAmarillo Dusters' in the search box. Select the "Amarillo Dusters" with the team photo labeled "Official Page" in order to receive updates.
Amarillo (2-10) will return home this Saturday, June 27th at 7pm to take on the Iowa Barnstormers. Fans will be able to put their names in a drawing to win a chance to "Ride with a Duster" at Wonderland this Sunday from 6pm-7pm. Game tickets begin as low as $10. You may purchase those show tickets by contacting the Dusters at 806-350-PASS.
THE AMARILLO DUSTERS are a member of the arenafootball2 league. The team front office is now located at 901 S. Buchanan in downtown Amarillo. Premium Red Level Sideline tickets are available by calling (806) 350-PASS (7277), and start at just $15 a seat.
