Amarillo, TX 7/15/09 - The Amarillo Dusters have brought on "Slim Pickin's" to the Duster family as the Dusters' mascot, the team announced at Wednesday's press conference.
Riding in from West Texas, Slim Pickin's has made his way into the Panhandle area for good. Pickin's looks to be a mainstay in the area, supporting the Dusters on gameday as well as taking an active role in the community.
"We welcome Slim Pickin's to our team," expressed Dusters General Manager Joe Morgado. "Mr. Pickin's will be a key asset to our team. All fans at this Saturday night's home finale will be able to interact with Slim Pickin's in his Panhandle debut."

This Saturday, July 18th at 7pm is your final chance to see your Dusters in person this season. Dollar menu night will be in effect, as all fans are welcome to dollar hot dogs, popcorn, and soda. To purchase show tickets starting at $10 each, call 806.350.PASS.
