Dusters Hold Second Round of Dance Team Tryouts

Amarillo, TX (12/17/08) - The Amarillo Dusters, preparing for their fifth season of play in the Texas Panhandle, have scheduled dance team tryouts for January 11, to be held at the Amarillo Civic Center.
Those interested in becoming a Duster Darlin' in 2009 should be at the Civic Center's Regency Room by 1:00 PM on January 11. Each dancer must bring $25 (personal checks will not be accepted) and a front-view headshot.
Participants will be competing for a spot on the 20-dancer 2009 squad. Dancers should wear dance pants or shorts, dance shoes or tennis shoes, and sports bra or tank tops that display the mid-drift. Tryouts are open to dancers ages 18 or older.
