Dusters announce open tryout camp

The Amarillo Dusters will be conducting their first free agent tryout camp for the 2006 season on Sunday, October 23rd, 2005 at the Kids Inc Sportsplex in Amarillo. Registration begins promptly at 7:00 am. Cost is $40.00 pre-registered, and $50.00 for those who pay the day of the workout. Cash, credit cards, and money orders will be accepted, no checks. Linemen and FB/LB's will begin testing after registration, while all skill position players will begin immediately following the Linemen and FB/LB's workout. Players will be tested in the 40, short shuttle, broad jump, and vertical. Following the testing circuit, players will be tested in agility and skill drills, as well as one-on-one and three on three competition. The surface is Field Turf, so players are encouraged to bring both cleats and tennis shoes (no metal cleats, no spikes, no track shoes). The Kids Inc., Sportsplex in Amarillo is located at 33rd & Osage Street, just south of I-40. Please complete the registration form on the Dusters website at www.dustersfootball.com.
