Durham Bulls News Release
Tonight's Game
The Bulls continue their eight-game road trip with game three of a four-game set against the Norfolk Tides at Harbor Park. Durham has won 10 of its last 11 contests, and enters tonight's game with the most wins in the International League, and tied for the most wins in all of Minor League Baseball (Advanced-A Dunedin). The Tides - the Baltimore Orioles' top affiliate - have lost seven of their last eight, and hold the worst record in the IL. Tonight's contest marks the fifth of six straight games the teams will play against one another, after the squads split a two-game set at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, and the Bulls won the first two contests at Harbor Park.
HOPPY-ness Is The Truth
In the Charlie Montoyo era (2007-present), the Bulls have played four games on Easter, going 3-1 in those affairs. This will be the third time they've played Norfolk on Easter since 2009, as they fell to the Tides 6-5 in 2011 at Harbor Park, but beat the Tides 2-1 in 2009 at the DBAP.
