PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Soul announced the signing of wide receiver Clif Dell on Saturday.

Dell is expected to be in uniform when the club takes on the New York Dragons on Sunday, March 16 at 2 p.m. at the Wachovia Center. He will wear uniform number 8.

Dell joins the Soul after the club released wide receiver Jamall Broussard on Friday. Broussard played in Philadelphia's 60-49 win over the Chicago Rush last Sunday, finishing with four catches for 44 yards.

Dell, entering his ninth season in the AFL, spent the last two seasons with the Orlando Predators. He had 15 catches for 193 yards and four touchdowns last season. For his career, he has 325 receptions for 4,136 yards and 87 TDs.

The Philadelphia Soul, YOUR Team...YOUnited, continue the 2008 season at home against the New York Dragons on Sunday, March 16 at 2 p.m. (et). The first 10,000 fans to the game will receive a Soulmates poster courtesy of Suncoast Mortgage. The game be heard live on the radio at Sports Radio 950 on the web at sr950.com. The game can be seen on Comcast SportsNet on tape delay starting at 7 p.m. (et). The Soul then travel to face the Los Angeles Avengers on Thursday, March 20 beginning at 10:30 p.m. (et). That game can be seen live on Comcast SportsNet and be heard on the radio at Sports Radio 950.

The Soul are celebrating their fifth anniversary this season. The team has drawn an AFL-best 514,226 fans combined during the past four years. Following last season, the Soul were recognized with the Commissioner's Award as the Organization of the Year and were an honorable mention for the PRISM Award in the category of fan appreciation.
