
Dubnyk Is the MeiGray Group ECHL Alumnus of the Month

PRINCETON, N.J. - Former Stockton Thunder and current Minnesota Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk is The MeiGray Group ECHL Alumnus of the Month for February.
The leading distributor of game- worn hockey jerseys and "Official Game-Worn Jersey Source of the ECHL," MeiGray has sold more than 6,900 jerseys since it became "The Official Game-Worn Jersey Source of the ECHL" in 2002-03.
The 28-year-old went 11-2-1 in 14 appearances in February with three shutouts, a 1.64 goals-against average and a save percentage of .939.
A native of Regina, Sasketchewan, Dubnyk has appeared in 39 games with Arizona and Minnesota this season with an overall record of 24-8-3. He ranks second in the NHL with six shutouts, is third with a 2.15 goals-against average and is fifth with a .926 save percentage.
Selected by the Edmonton Oilers in the first round (14th overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, Dubnyk has seen action in 212 career NHL games with Minnesota, Arizona, Nashville and Edmonton posting an overall record of 85-85-25 with 14 shutouts, a 2.76 goals-against average and a save percentage of .912.
Dubnyk appeared in 43 games with Stockton as a rookie in 2006-07 where he went 24-11-7 with two shutouts, a 2.56 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage and represented the Thunder in the 2007 ECHL All-Star Game.
There have been 559 players who have played in the NHL after playing in the ECHL including 18 who have made their debut in 2014-15. The ECHL has had 414 players reach the NHL since 2002-03 when it changed its focus to become the primary developmental league for the NHL and the AHL. The ECHL had 97 players reach the NHL in its first 10 seasons and 215 in the first 15 years. There have been 303 ECHL players who have played their first game in the last 10 seasons for an average of more than 30 per year.
