PORTLAND, October, 1, 2007 - Portland LumberJax forward Ryan Powell has one of the most formidable, accurate shots in the National Lacrosse League. On Tuesday, October 2nd, Powell will have a much smaller target to shoot at: a golf hole. Powell will attempt to stay out of the sand traps during the Dream Team Basketball Camp Celebrity Golf Tournament at 12 p.m. at the Reserve Vineyards and Golf Course in Aloha. Powell will be playing in one of the two foursomes that the Jax have reserved.

Along with Powell, Jax Director of Sponsorships Jay Mayes and Ticket Sales Manager Donna Posner will join Columbia Distributing's Chris Hodge.

In another group, goalie Dallas Eliuk will square off with KGW's Adam Bjaranson, Fox 12's Patrick McCreery and a representative from the Portland Tribune.

Dream Team camps offer a variety of basic skills to motivate and inspire young people in playing basketball and life. Teamwork, respect and discipline are just a few of the basic skills taught.
