The New York Dragons set a new AFL record on Saturday night by returning their eleventh kick for a touchdown. WR/LB Chris Anthony returned a Columbus Destroyers' onsides kick in the fourth quarter for a 13-yard score to set the new mark. The record for combined return touchdowns in a season was held by the Milwaukee Mustangs who had ten in 2000.

"I believe we have a great stable of kick returners and two very talented special teams' coaches in Jerome Brown and Chad Lindsey who come up with the blocking schemes," said Dragons head coach Weylan Harding.

For the season, WR/DB Will Holder is tied for the league in combined return touchdowns with San Jose's Rashid Davis as each player has four. WR/DB Corey Johnson is tied for second in the league with three. Dennis has returned two for scores while OS Markeith Cooper and Anthony each have one.
