June 9, 2006 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
New York Dragons News Release

The New York Dragons radio duo, Wayne Morris and Peter Schwartz, will be broadcasting ArenaBowl XX live on Sirius Satellite, channel 123. They will also host two other radio shows to lead up to the big game. This will be the second year that the ArenaBowl takes place in Las Vegas.

The first broadcast is today, Friday, June 9th, takes place live from right outside the AFL Award Dhow. Nineteen of the "20 Greatest Players" will be present and the show will run from 7:00 - 10:00 pm ET.

On Saturday evening, June 10th, you can tune in again from 6:00 - 9:00 pm ET for more live action with Morris and Schwartz as they conduct interviews and discuss the ArenaBowl XX match up when Chicago and Orlando go head-to-head for this year's title. Dragons' kicker Jesse Obert will be a guest on the show as well.

Sunday, June 11th, ArenaBowl XX takes place at 3:00 pm ET. But first, don't miss out on the pre-game show with Morris and Schwartz from 1:00 - 3:00 pm ET.

This radio team has been together with the Dragons for the last three seasons (2004-2006). Schwartz has been on the play-by-play since 2002. Morris began covering the Dragons on television as the analyst for FSN in 2001.

"For me it's an honor getting chosen to be the radio analyst for this championship game and it's even better because I get to do it with my Dragons radio partner," said Morris. "It's a little disappointing not having the Dragons there after watching them fight through so much adversity this season, but in our years here this is the team we are most proud of."

"It's an honor to be chosen by the AFL to broadcast ArenaBowl XX. Being able to work with Wayne will make this experience even more memorable," added Schwartz. "The only thing missing is the Dragons playing in the game but I'm sure that day will come soon enough."

Morris and Schwartz debuted on Sirius in the beginning of this season when they were chosen to host "Inside the AFL" a weekly radio show that recaps the previous week's match ups, interviews players and coaches and provides many other AFL updates. Sunday's game wraps up another great season for this radio duo. Tune in next season for more of Morris and Schwartz and for what other additional new ventures might come their way.
